Metropolitan Region

The FrankfurtRheinMain metropolitan region is located in the heart of Europe and extends across the three federal states of Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz and Bayern. International traffic routes intersect here opening the door to the world for us. As a traditional financial and trade fair centre, FrankfurtRheinMain is one of the most important and dynamic metropolitan regions in Europe. More than 100 research and development institutions are working on the future, and 30 universities make the region an innovative location for knowledge.

Numerous globally active companies also have their headquarters in FrankfurtRheinMain. Leisure time is also not neglected. Around 40 percent of the area comprises forest and leisure space to make the metropolitan region an excellent place to relax. A wealth of cultural offerings also ensure an excellent quality of life.
